CS 1.6 Extreme is a Counter-Strike 1.6 build that gives the classic game a CS:GO look: 25 weapon skins, red-and-blue player models, and CS:GO HUD, radar and sounds.

Weapon skins

The build adds 25 weapon skins based on CS:GO, with automatic inspection animations across knives, grenades, rifles and pistols. Examples include the M4A4 | Howl, the AWP | Hyper Beast and the USP-S | Stainless, plus Cloud9 gloves. A few weapons, such as the G3SG1 and XM1014, keep their standard look, and you can add your own skins on top.

Player models

The ACS player models come in red and blue - Terrorists in red, Counter-Terrorists in blue - which makes teams easy to tell apart in a firefight.

Interface and sound

The menu uses a dark theme with turquoise accents and a SWAT background, plus a new launch icon. The HUD, radar and sniper scopes are taken from CS:GO. The sounds also come from CS:GO, and the menu track is Advent Children - Encounter.

Performance and servers

An optimized config keeps the frame rate smooth, including on older PCs. You can add bots for offline practice through the H-menu or console. Online, the build connects to more than 200 servers, from classic bomb defusal to custom modes, and it supports any mod or custom content - maps, skins or new game modes.

Protection

Built-in protection blocks malicious server commands, so you can play on public servers or test mods more safely. If you want a more modern build, you can also download CS 1.9.
